2020년 랭킹 57위의 퍼듀 대학교와 62위의 워싱턴 대학교 시애틀의 SAT.ACT 합격 평균 점수대 와, 지원 시 필요한 주요 사항을 올려 보겠습니다. 

 

코로나19의 SAT 시험 연기 여파로, SAT 시험을 8월부터 매달 테스트를 보는 것으로 예정되어 있고, 기존에 고려했던 집에서 치르는 온라인 SAT시험이 아닌, 일반 시험장 에서 시험을 치를것 이라고 칼리지 보드에서 발표 했습니다. 칼리지보드 에서는 대신에 얼리 지원 마감일을 연기 해 줄 것을 대학에 요청 할 것이라 했지만, 퍼듀 대학은 얼리 액션 지원을 종전과 같이 11월1일로 하겠다고 발표 했으며, 다른 대학들의 지원 방향에 대해 계속적으로 추이를 지켜봐야 할 것 같습니다. 

 

퍼듀 대학교에서는 SAT.ACT. 시험 점수 제출에 대해 융통성 있게 대처 하겠다고 했지만, 만약 SAT/ACT 시험을 볼 수 있다면, 시험을 보고, 점수 제출 할 것을 선호 한다고 했습니다. 이 대학은 지원자 평가 기준을 다음과 같이 명시 하였습니다. SAT or ACT 점수, High school course expectations, Overall grades in academic coursework, Essay and answers to Purdue questions, Grades in academic core coursework (English, academic math, laboratory science, foreign language, social studies), Grades related to intended major, Strength of your overall high school curriculum등 입니다. 지원 하는데 참고 하시기 바랍니다.
